Narwhals & Waterfalls: creative songs for creative kids! Paige Bell and Adrien Palmer met in 2018 with a simple goal: write great music for their students and kids everywhere. Hailing from Dallas, Texas, they both teach music to children ages 0 to 5th grade and are connected over their passion to also teach life skills, specifically Social and Emotional Learning. More and more school districts are embracing the importance of SEL not just as a part of education but as the foundation that makes all learning possible. Paige and Adrien recognized that need and formed Narwhals & Waterfalls to help create songs, curriculum, and resources that make SEL fun for everyone.

N&W strives to write simple SEL that aligns with children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development. Whether you’re a professional educator, a stay-at-home parent, a family friend, or any other kind of teacher, N&W’s music promotes learning and movement and will enhance your “student’s” life! Adrien and Paige are confident that when N&W’s songs get stuck in your head, they will bring a smile to your face.

With influences such as Raffi, Mr. Rogers, Bruno Mars, Stephanie Leavell, and Laurie Berkner (just to name a few!), N&W’s acoustic Kindie Rock sound is minimalist, translating easily from the studio to just an acoustic guitar. Many of their songs feature simple movements and prompts that can be acted out to engage the entire body in the learning process. Their live shows feature lots of crowd engagement, encouraging kids and parents to grab an egg shaker, sing and dance along, and help create a unique, special experience.

They have released 1 EP: Hello, Goodbye, and In Between (2020), and three albums: Simple SEL (2019), Full Circle SEL (2021), and SEL Together (2024). Each album has a full curriculum and kids activity book available on Teachers Pay Teachers and as part of their online membership site, SEL Core.
