David C. Cooper is a broadcast professional with more than 30 years of experience in the radio industry, ranging from on-air host to program director, music director, and operations manager for radio stations across the country. Cooper developed and operated an in-house music research department for Nationwide Communications in Phoenix, which later became ClearChannel Communications. He led the call-out and auditorium music testing and served as music director for KZZP, a Parallel 1 major market Contemporary Hit Radio (CHR) reporter for trade publications R&R and Billboard. His selections for on-air play resulted in a number of gold and platinum records. Cooper has served as program director for KSLX Phoenix, developing music research and rotation, station branding, imaging, promotions and staff recruiting while hosting a successful morning show, taking the station to #1 market position. Cooper also served as operations manager for CBS Radio in Columbus, Ohio, overseeing the on-air content, music scheduling, and market positioning for WLVQ, WHOK, and WAZU.
