Description

This comprehensive teaching guide is designed to help those who teach elementary music classes online.  Within its pages, you will find tips and strategies to help plan creative lessons using the “CEEMS” method of virtual teaching (collaborate, energize, engage, motivate, support).  Activities include interactive music games, energizing and amusing short activities, and collaborative ideas to help motivate and engage your students.  Also within the pages are several full-length lesson plans which utilize the Kodaly, Orff, or Dalcroze philosophy of music education.   These lessons include reproducible pages for use in the virtual classroom.  Simply take a screen-shot and use the graphics the author has provided to help engage your students in the lesson.  A private YouTube link of a Halloween lesson is also included as a bonus Dalcroze-based lesson to do with young Elementary students  – just in time for Halloween!  We hope you enjoy!
