Description
This project is intended for secondary general music classes and provides tools for engaging in active listening. Students create personal playlists and then learn to listen critically to unfamiliar music through a description and analysis activity. Finally, students contact the power of musical expression through a soundtrack extension- using WeVideo and Soundtrap, students create short videos with contrasting soundtracks to express multiple moods and ideas. This resource comes with a GoogleSlideshow (with video/audio links) and student handouts. These can be downloaded as PDFs or used in conjunction with the google suite so you can copy and edit as needed.
