Alice Tsui has made a wonderful book which my children adore. It’s awesome how many object are clickable, giving children (and adults) the chance to learn words in Mandarin Chinese.

I am so happy that this book exists. My students loved to hear the narrations, see the illustrations, and learn the beautiful, singable melody. We were able to use the story as a springboard to talk about lived experiences, and to start a conversation about how words matter. I know I’ll be using this book for years to come, especially with all the layers to dig into. I definitely recommend this book!
